Retail & Private Fashion
Dana Cooper collaborates with private clients and retail brands to create custom fashion pieces, original illustrations, and artfully directed collections. Whether developing a one-of-a-kind garment or designing the next signature print for a global label, Dana brings a painter’s eye and a storyteller’s instinct to every project.
Her work moves fluidly between fashion and product design, offering clients a unique blend of artistic vision, technical skill, and brand insight.

Private Fashion Commissions
Dana offers a limited number of private commissions for clients who want something personal and artfully made. Whether it’s a custom dress, a unique version of an existing style, or a special set of pieces for an upcoming trip or event, each project is tailored to the client’s needs and lifestyle.
This is a collaborative process focused on fit, fabric, and feeling. Dana brings together hand-drawn prints, elegant shapes, and coastal influences to create timeless garments that feel easy and expressive.

Retail Partnerships
Retailers can work with Dana to adapt her signature styles or develop custom pieces exclusively for their store. Her prints and silhouettes translate beautifully into boutique resortwear, specialty fashion, and seasonal capsules.
Dana’s collections have been carried at Saks Fifth Avenue and stocked by leading stores in New York, Bermuda, Palm Beach, and Jamaica. Projects can be built around your retail calendar, clientele, or store concept.

Art Direction & Brand Illustration
Dana also partners with fashion and lifestyle brands to develop print-forward collections and visual assets. She can illustrate custom motifs, art direct your next collection, or help shape the visual identity of a product line.
Her work has appeared on garments, accessories, packaging, and retail displays. With a background in both editorial design and fashion, Dana offers end-to-end creative services for projects that call for style, personality, and a clear point of view.

Before launching her namesake brand, Dana worked in New York as an art director and designer for major publications, including W Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and The Week.
Her work has spanned editorial layout, font selection, page design, and visual direction for national print campaigns. She has also illustrated for books, calendars, packaging, and brand collateral. Dana’s editorial design has been recognized by the Society of Publication Designers and continues to inform her thoughtful, composition-driven approach to fashion and product design.
